"Thank You" messages from our Troops!
Your Donations make A Big Difference to the morale of all our military troops.I believe we received some knitted items from you back around the Holidays. We are getting ready to come home now, and I was going through my desk and found the sticker that was with your gifts. I watched a couple of your scarves and hats come in handy for some of the female Soldiers in my office during the Winter months here in Kuwait. I wanted to tell you thanks, and I hope "better late than never" applies in this case. God bless you and know that we all appreciate gifts that are made from the heart when we are far from home. VR, CW4 S. R. B.
I received a box with a hand-made scarf. It
had your email on it. I wanted to say thank you. Take care!
Sincerely SPC G., V.
I recently received a scarf made by you from one of the organization here on post that passes morale items out to the troops to boost their spirit. I wanted to say thank you, because it took me home for a minute with my family and back in time to when my great grandma taught my how to knit. My mother taught my how to crochet. I mostly enjoy simple sewing projects and hook eye work. My patience to sit still that long and work on a big tasks does not work for me. I like to be on the go. I have a joy for working with wood, by painting and building. Once again thank you. Your support is appreciated. S. S. SGT

I have been in the Army since 2000. I was active duty for almost 4 yrs and when I got out I got and missed it so I joined the National Guard. I work for **** at home in the mail room. Once again thanks for the scarf, I can't wait to be able to wear it at home. It snows a lot in ***. It is currently snowing a lot here in Kosovo. Feel free to write me back whenever you want! Hi, thank you so much for making the wonderful scarf
that I got in my box today from Operation Gratitude. I plan on sending it
to my daughter in Germany. She will love it, especially because of the camoflauge
pattern - "just like Daddy".
I am a battalion commander assigned to Baghdad and on behalf of the 1800 Soldiers
that are in my battalion, thank you for sharing your love with my Soldiers.
It is wonderful to know that we have the support and backing of the American citizens
and this proves to us that we are cared for and not forgotten.
Again, thanks and God bless you, T., L. M LTC
I attached a picture of some members of our unit while we posed for a picture at the Great Ziggurat of Ur, which is a historical place close to where our base is. If you google ziggurat, you will see there is allot of history behind it. Thank you again. Sincerely v/r K. M. 1LT
I, SFC G., would like to thank you so much for taking the time to hand-make a gift for a service member. This really expresses great gratitude and tremendous support on your behalf. I will definitely use this gift and treasure it from here on. Thank you so much once again! NOTE: The gift in the care package was a black miniature quilt sent from Encino, California. Sincerely, SFC B. G. B Company

I and my fellow Soldiers and Sailors greatly appreciate the care packages that have been sent. All items have been distributed to the Soldiers and Sailors in order to make the time in Iraq that much easier. We see that this is a very large organization operation and please know that your service to us will not be forgotten. Again, thank you very much. 1SG C. C.
People always say how proud and appreciative they are for my service. The truth is I don’t think I would be strong enough for this if it wasn’t for the support from my family, friends, and even the big hearts of strangers. Thank you so much for the care package. I hope you all have a great year. SPC K. W.
